Georgia Risk Reduction Program - DUI School in Georgia

Georgia's Risk Reduction program – commonly known as DUI School – is a required component of all DUI sentences. 

Step 1: The NEEDS Assessment

• You must first take an Assessment, which is 143 questions about an individual’s alcohol and drug use and its impact on driving. The Assessment takes approximately 30 minutes and the cost is $100.00 

Step 2: The 20-hour DUI Course

• Online: you must have a device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) with a working webcam and microphone. 
• In-Person: you will be expected to participate in group discussions and activities, similar to an online class.  

Step 3: Certificate of Completion

• DDS certified providers provide an official DDS Certificate of Completion regardless of how you take the class. There is no reference made between "online" or "in-person" on the certificate.

• $100.00 Assessment fee
• $235.00 class fee + $25.00 workbook fee (fee is set by State Law)
• Total: $360.00
