Next DUI/Risk Reduction Class

DDS has approved Alfa to offer the Risk Reduction (DUI School) online because of COVID-19. The DUI/risk reduction program is mandated for those convicted of driving under the influence (DUI), boating under the influence (BUI), possession of illegal drugs, or underage possession of alcohol while operating a motor vehicle. The fee for the course is $360, which is set and mandated by the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS).  All DUI Schools charged the same fee.

• The first part is the NEEDS Assessment Component.  It takes about 20-30 minutes to complete.   It can be done in person or online. 
• It is a 130-question comprehensive screening instrument. It evaluates the extent of an individual’s alcohol and drug use and its impact on driving.
• GA DDS requires that you complete this assessment before the start of your class.

• After taking the NEEDS Assessment, you must complete a 20-hour DUI/Risk Reduction Course.  
• You have one year to complete the course once you have taken your assessment.
• This program satisfies the Court and DDS to be eligible to reinstate a driver's license if suspended. 
• The Certificate of Completion is issued at the end of the course.
