Georgia DDS-Approved Defensive Driving Class

$95.00 class fee (Set by State Law)

Online vs In-Person....are both accepted by DDS and Court?

YES! The Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) has fully approved instructor-led virtual (online) version of the course. The course must be 6-hours with breaks.


The online course holds the exact same weight and serves the identical purpose as any in-person class. The official DDS Certificate of Completion is identical - regardless how you take the class 

DDS-Approved Class is valid for ALL 159 counties in Georgia!

  • Reduce Points: Remove up to 7 points from your Georgia driver’s license 
  • Lower Insurance Premiums: Qualify insurance discount of up to 10% (valid for 3 years).
  • Satisfy a Court Order: Fulfill traffic court requirements for ticket dismissal or fine reduction, as ordered by a judge.
  • Reinstate Your License: Complete a key requirement for certain license suspensions
  • DDS certified providers provide an official DDS Certificate of Completion.   

Driver Improvement and Defensive Driving Class is the same.
